Title: Season Recap
Post by: Gobblerslobber on May 11, 2019, 08:41:09 PM
I was blessed to be able to travel to three different states this year and also had success in my home state. I won't bore everyone with a long recap of each hunt, but it was an epic season overall. Not a single decoy used.                                                                             First bird was a MS public land stud. Thanks everyone, it was icing on the cake to finish the season with that bird in the snow. He gave me the slip for two days straight by flying to the opposite side of the river off the roost. Both mornings all five hens he had with him flew down 20yds from my setup. Turned out he had been shot earlier in the season, I found two heavy shot pellets in his breast meat.
