Title: Help with Vermont or New Hampshire

Me and a buddy of mine are planning on hunting Vermont or New Hampshire Memorial Day weekend and we were just curious as a general area to start. We aren't looking for GPS coordinates just a general idea of where we need to start. Any help is welcome.

Either side of the Connecticut River in the southern part of either state
