Is there much difference in maroon and green? I've got a whole box of maroon but I've just been using green. I guess I could try it to see!!

I use both and can't tell much difference. If you have maroon use it and don't worry about it until it's gone.

I like green on slate. Brown on aluminum

I use both. No difference in my opinion. I use the brown 90% of the time now.

I use what comes with the calls. Pretty much green for slates and maroon on anodized aluminum and copper.

I use maroon. Easier to buy one instead of a couple and then have to keep track of two different colors.

I always used green with slate and never gave other colors much thought. I just looked up their grit chart that shows green is 600 and the maroon is 320-400.

I use both. The Maroon on alum and glass and the green on slates and striker tips if I have both readily at hand. If just one in front of me and it's maroon, I'll use it on slate it's just that the green should be less abrasive to the slate that overtime could wear thin I suppose.
