I'll give this a bump for you even if my info probably isn't going to give you a ton of help.

I've hunted private land in the area of Barneveld and Mt. Horeb in Iowa County.  There's always been plenty of birds on the property where I've hunted and could hear them on surrounding ones.

I have no knowledge of public land or any other info other than that.  Hence, I'm not much help.  Hopefully it'll give you a place to consider anyway.

Be ready for stubborn birds.  When I hunted WI this late in the year I would be super cautious.  Birds in the area I hunted frequented the same roosts.  Just be cautious and use that info for evening hints
