Our opener was on 5/1 and i scored around 11am. The weather sux and it has rained daily. Not alot of gobbling thus far but the three hens he was with brought him to his demise. I didn't even see him strut and he was more in a feeding mode but his mistake is that he crossed my path in the pro diamond. With my luck, he had only one spur but he weighed 19.8 lbs. i will hunt this coming week but rain is in the daily forecast. This is the third year in a row that it is raining almost daily in NY for at least a week.
Good luck to those who are still hunting and i will try to upgrade my score.
Best Regards,

He came in silent at 15-yds and he head was held on by skin only. Thx.
Ive had that Simmons Pro Diamond scope on my turkey slayer for years now The scope does it job it,s the operator that doesnt. :TooFunny: :TooFunny: Their good scopes for the price and what they go through recoil and such and still hold POA/POI. :firefighter:

I concur.

Congrats on your gobbler Doc!! I was told recently that one gobbler is better than none. So I would say to you that one spur is better than no spurs!!! ;) ;D Hope the weather improves for you. Good job Murph!!! :icon_thumright:
Congrats Juice! You really walloped his head and neck...wow.
Wow, decapitation. Good Job and Congratulations!!!!
I hear you on the rain. I think this past year and a half it hasn't gone more than 3-4 days without raining.
Congrats on the harvest!
