Just curious if any of you guys experience anything like this while turkey hunting. We dealt with em for the second half of the season. They can be a real pain in the arse.

I spent a weekend turkey hunting with them this year. Those gnats were no joke!
Take a shower once in a while. :TooFunny:
No gnats this year, but I did bring home a spider the size of a dinner plate. Well ok.he was big as a quarter. Dropped my vest on the living room floor and out he came. Mashed him with a pot call.

Just don't tell anyone else my secret weapon. ;D
I have heard that putting a couple bounce fabric softner sheets around your neck and in your shirt pocket helps. Might be worth a try, that looks nasty. I can't stand those biting gnats.
My Golly that's bad!!
I've been in a few places like that, but it was almost too unbearable to hunt. Usually in really wet areas though.
I'm not so sure a Thermacell would even work on those bugs.
God Bless,
David b.
We hunt in a swamp and they are all over us, we wouldnt be able to hunt without a thermacell. Sometimes you can't even take a pee it's so bad. :o

There were 2 Thermacells running in that video, works great on Skeeters but not at all on those gnats. Makes it rough but I can say, if I could still be out there hunting turkeys I would not let those things stop me. ;D
Get you some of that Sawyers spray and spray everything you own...I get the knats as soon as I sit down but once they land (or try to) they don't like it and leave...after about 3 minutes there are no bugs in sight...I didn't use my Thermacell one time this year
The gnats were terrible this year on our lease in central Alabama.
