Hey guys, I aint seen the woods in a week. I came down with the flu. Im doing a little better as of now. I went out yesterday for about 2 hours, until i started vomiting while calling. I also got soo much work to do in school. Saturday is the start of all day hunting. I been seeing this group of 3 gobblers and they are always together. Im gonna be out there on Saturday with my buddy and see if we can get a double. Good luck to everybody!

Hey guys I just about scored on a great big gobbler. Looks for 90 yards to have at least a 11 inch beard and couldnt see spurs. He was coming in on a line . I was set up in a hay field. That property where I hunt has a lot of farmers that will pull the 270 out the window and shoot something in the field at any time. So this guy just happened to drive down into the field and see why there was a turkey in the field, and what do ya know it bye bye gobbler. I wanted to say something so bad but this guy is very very nice and about 85 years old. Hes just old fashioned. I always bring him and his wife a mess a fish when I catch them. After that scenario he still gobbled when I called. When I walked back to the 4 wheeler, which I always park in the field beside their house, he walks out and asks me if i saw those 3 turkeys in the hay field. :happy0064: :deadhorse: :newmascot:
