Title: Nomad poncho
Post by: bigbird on April 01, 2019, 08:48:17 AM
Has anyone seen or used one of these? Are they worth a hoot? Anyone want to enlighten me on this garment? I wouldn't mind one if they are worthy.

In for the same reason,  it's on my "wait for a sale" watch list.

I always keep the small disposiable "emergency poncho" in my vest.  Only a couple bucks$.

Cant tell you how many times its come in handy!  Most time I had a buddy with me who got wet while I laughed lol.

I'm sure it works as well as any other poncho, but in relation to price I'd say no, it's not worth 100 bucks. I found a mossy oak pinch o with draw strings and buttons on it about 10 years ago. Works great, cost me 20 bucks. I'll try to find the link

Obviously not mossy oak like mine but it's as close to mine as I can find for price and features.

I carry this one with me, and it works as well as I could imagine any poncho working.
