Title: How does this call sound?
Post by: valerio024 on March 21, 2019, 08:31:47 AM
I recently picked up this brass over glass call at a local expo.  I want some honest feedback about the sound.  I am mostly concerned with the sound of the yelps from the call.

Like every other decent call on the planet, that one will call some turkeys doing just what you were doing,....and other turkeys it will not.  The use of any call for turkey hunting is often more about the knowledge of "turkey sounds" the caller has combined with his confidence in the caller.  If you like it, take it to the woods and see how the turkeys respond to it.

take it outside and run it - that sounds like you were indoors as I think I can hear a little bit of resonance that is sound bounce from walls or the floor?

Guessing you aren't crazy about tit or you wouldn't be asking?

If so, play around with it a bunch with a bunch of different strikers and until you find the call's sweet spot...it's there, you just gotta find it.
