Anybody living along the banks? I'm not far from Lake Oahe and know that down below it's getting high. Sioux Falls is out of the banks in town and the Niobrara River is full. Doesn't help that we just got a pile of really wet snow yesterday. I'd imagine all the feeder rivers and creeks are starting to flow or almost to that point finally. Grand River is still iced up and will be for another 2-3 weeks.
I live along the Platte river in eastern Nebraska and the flooding here is crazy. Never seen it like this. Had to leave Thursday night in a hurry and haven't been able to get back yet. The house is circled in red.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190317/5cd856e8c35202edd2db8f3e99e72301.jpg)

Hate to see that. I've got friends in NE Nebraska and they said the Missouri keeps getting higher.

That's a nightmare. Sorry to hear that. Hope it doesn't get any higher.
Yeah it's crazy on the amount of water. The town we are in has had now way out since Friday morning.

Dang. Prayers for you all are being sent. My family got to experience the full wrath of hurricane Florence last year (live in Wilmington) and although our house didn't get flooded, we had a lot of friends who did and lost everything. Feel for you all and will keep you in our prayers

Lot's of prayers ...
And all that water has to come through me and the Mississippi is well above flood stage already.
I hate that this happened to you Boomer. You have flood insurance I hope? It's expensive, but man, if ya need it, ya need it.
We lost our home to a fire 5 years ago - it was a hassle but we upgraded everything we had ever wanted to change. Hope you and your come out ok.
I have some access near Niobrara that is currently underwater. Good thing I hunt late season up there. I know the guys that hunt the property for early archery will have a 100+ mile detour just to get there.
Thanks for the prayers. The water finally came down for our house. But still a lot of flooded house around the area.
Got lucky the water only in the basement but about 5 feet of it. Now the fun of cleaning. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190318/0d5cc70df20a16abe7a74eaf3f47a1a9.jpg)
