Second weekend I've been out but nothing. Haven't heard a peep. Some turkeys have been killed where I hunt on public (and crowded) land.

There were two making noise there this morning for about 15-30 minutes but sporadic

Some water and drier than two weeks ago; was able to get deeper and not walk as far.

Heard gobble early and then another about hour later, answered my call just once. Be back at him tomorrow....

They've been quiet in central Sebring - they were more vocal this morning tho.  Lots of hens walking alone today.
