Should TSS shotgun shells be shot through a Mossberg 835 using Accu-Mag chokes clearly marked "lead shot only"? I have asked this question elsewhere and got a conglomeration of differing opinions.
Well, I am not seeing any replies so far, so I guess "LEAD ONLY" means just that...no TUNGSTEN STEEL or no Hevi-13 either. Any thoughts?
I wouldn't shoot steel through that tube. Just my 2 cents. If you want a definitive answer give Mossberg a call they should be able to tell you. Good luck with it.

Shoot tss or hevi threw any choke you have. This question has been asked 100 times. In short, no you cannot shoot size t steel at 1500 fps through a super full choke. Hevi 7's, TSS 8&9's at 1090fps cause no issues. You might get a scratch in a choke but I have yet to see enough that it changes performance. Most chokes even get a little better over time.
