Title: Kind of scale
Post by: ddturkeyhunter on March 03, 2019, 10:51:30 AM
What kind of scale do you use, and or best kind. I have been using a scale for weighing luggage. But it only weighs to nearest half pound. But if I would enter Old Gobblers turkey contest would need something more reliable. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190303/388b3dda471ac38918bfef5f450e46a3.jpg)

I also recommend any digital fishing scale. A digital scale will make it easier to read through pictures. No experience with this one but that price is nice.

I use a real avid score tote. Scale, measuring tape and tote in 1.

Watch your fish scales many will top out at 15lbs or 25lbs, I needed one for over the 50lb mark and it works great for turkey!
