Back to your calls, do they sound very different from one another? One of my favorite fiddlebox combos.
Wouldn't say very different but there is a difference to me. Seems to me Marlin's is more raspy. Could just be me though.

Even if they were both calls from marlin in the same combo there's a good chance they would sound different.
He had two when I got mine. They did sound different. He even said there was a difference

I got the phone call from TJ last night that my name is almost up on the list. Can't wait to see what combos he has for me.
Waiting on my chakte viga over black limba from Tj to arrive as we speak. I have a macassar over pecan and a macassar over pear on the way. I have 4 butternut boxes from marlin and can say that I love butternut for a box. I dont have one with macassar lid though. Anyway , beautiful calls. Congrats.
Definitely nice boxes. The one I got is 50 of 50. I started to get another combo but thought I'd go with it since it was #50.
