Title: Danner Vital/High Ground
Post by: Jeremy66 on February 25, 2019, 09:29:54 AM
In the market for a new pair of uninsulated boots for turkey and deer in the warmer weather.  Does anyone have the Danner Vital or High Ground?

I can't speak to the uninsulated Vital, however I ordered the 400gr insulated in 10.5 and I usually wear a 9.5.  The boots were far too tight.  I had to return them.  Good luck.

Neither of those, but I've always had great success with Danner. Wearing a pair of Mountain 600s now.

I have had a pair of the High Ground for a couple years vthey are very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair when these wear out.

Just got the new alsea from danner few weeks back. Love them so far havent hunted in em yet. I liked the lace part better on them looked a lot tougher than others. I wear a 10.5 wide and it fits good they are kinda narrow but fit good. Just hoping theyre pretty waterproof. I got the uninsulated.

I have the High Ground and consider them the best elk hunting, western, hiking boots I have owned.  I wear them turkey hunting when I'm not in snake country.  I bought mine a couple of years back when Cabela's offered them in Mossy Oak Bottomland.  I bought a second pair in case my first wear out, I like them that much.
