Title: JLH yellowheart striker
Post by: Upfold99 on February 19, 2019, 07:14:11 PM
Mr. Harrison, thankyou again for the opportunity on the striker.

I received it in the mail today and its a player. Great craftsmanship and that yellow heart plays on alot. I have ran it on Grey, Green, Red slates. Along with glass, aluminum and copper. I assure you it will get the job done.

Guys dont hesitate to pick one of Mr. Harrison's strikers up. You wont be disappointed.

Thankyou!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190220/a7ffc384b864060f03285e63460afa09.jpg)

If it plays anywhere near as good as it looks you have a keeper! :icon_thumright:

Guys , im as picky as they come and I cant say enough about jeffs strikers. I own strikers from just about every well known maker out there. Over 300 strikers to be precise. I broke down and ordered a weighted cedar from him. I like cedar but didnt use it much because I hate light strikers. Got it in , ran it on several pots and was really impressed. Sent a pm and ordered a heavy hickory and macassar. They came in 5 days. Ran them and said wow. I know have a order of 8 more on the way. They look good , have a very good balance with a little weight and plain sound good on every surface . Im not gonna lie , they do have their surfaces that they prefer , but where they shine is in consistency. I mean I ran a cedar on glass just for kicks and it was huntable. Ran a macassor on grey slate and not bad. In my expereince usually cedar dont sound right on glass to me and macassor not great on grey slate. They are usually opposite on the surfaces. I cannot say enough about Jeffs strikers. I will tell you that I love my stuckey maccasar and it never leaves my vest. Jeffs macassar is right there with it. Guys , try a few and I bet you will smile when you put it to a pot. I absolutely have nothing to gain with this review. I just want to put my experience out there to you. Never thought I would find strikers I like better than my stuckey or Fowlers and iI will continue using them, but Jeffs is up there with them. Shout out to bill lyman too. His strikers are insane and will always be in my arsonal also.
