Matt Mclain is making a new striker from alum/carbon arrow shaft with wood tips and the head of the striker has screw in field point for counter weights, you can change the tone of the striker with less field point weight or more depending on your liking ... Lookup Matt Mclain on facebook and see him running this new striker .. he made 50 of these for the show and sold out in no time .... I got one of his black locust and dymondwood the real stuff.....It's worth a look in my opinion ....
Neat idea. I have a handful of shafts that haven't survived the trip through deer shoulders and rocks.
I saw those and had two in my hands and didn't buy. I bet it would work tho.
