Title: Little help on CD 20ga choke threads...
Post by: msgobblergetter on April 27, 2011, 04:54:00 PM
It seems like I remember reading that the Charles Daly 20ga field pump guns use rem choke threads... Can anyone verify if I am remembering correctly?

I have one (a Charles Daly pump) that will not take a Remington choke
they will start ,but will not tighten all the way up

that is odd.  But it will not take much for it not to work.   All that we have had in the shop have had rem chokes in them.  They like the 560 rang choke.

Have you tried another Rem choke tube of any type? There is a real possibility that the wrong choke got marked as a Rem thread. Do not force anything of course.
