I have a grey slate in chestnut that I got from tomfooleryy on here. I really like it. One of my better sounding pots. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190208/f688ef50a3cce8135af9e5fab1912611.jpg)

Depends on whether you can run a call or not? If you  can he knows how to build calls. I have never bought a pot call of his that couldn't call in a turkey and I have alot of Pats calls.
If someone happens to not practice and learn how to use a call it doesn't matter who made the call it isn't going to be as effective.

Pats calls are killer! I've got a handful that will run with the best of them for sure.

You can expect what a Multi decorated "Caller" and "Call Maker" would be expected to produce. I love Pat's calls.

Ive ran and own a lot of great callmakers pots just not Pat's. Just figured some that owned them would know more about them. Looking forward to getting them.

Hahaha this legitimately made me feel better. Being a degenerate turkey call buyer is a bad affliction

Never seen a truer statement made on this board... Just an affliction we must live with, if our wives don't kill us first.

I was lucky enough to log in at the right time and get one of the six calls that he posted too.  I got a glass over glass in a cherry/maple pot.  I've never had one of Pat's calls either but I've heard him in enough contests to know he knows how build a call, anxious for it to get here.  I will post a sound file when it arrives.

After meeting Pat and playing some of his calls at Turkey Trot acres last year I ordered  a "blue deuce"...it will be in my vest this spring  for sure

My "Jekyll and Hyde" double sided, Alum/slate is always in my vest.  Pat makes a great pot!  He had at least one pot entered in Nashville that I saw.  I believe he also won the 1-sided box call division this year.
