I added the item to my cart and a $40 dollar gift card popped up. Woohoo. I proceeded and another offer popped up for an Amazon card came up, $70 instant dollar gift card if you get approved. I called and talked to a human. No yearly fee, no minimum purchases and you can cancel after a year. I read all the fine print that I could understand, I am only a welder, and hit the button. Order form came up $29.99 and free shipping. Barring a hale storm in July and getting a black eye in an elephant stampede with a baby zebra, I am very happy. I guess you missed the part about it being an Amazon Prime card. You'll be automatically charged annually for Amazon Prime, which isn't such a bad deal if you order a lot of products from Amazon. I believe its over $100.00 for an annual subscription now. Be careful here...if you already have an Amazon Prime account, they will charge you twice annually.
For me, living 15 miles to anything close to a small sized city, its a great deal. I order a bunch from Amazon.
I put one in my cart and went to checkout and the price was 140, no discounts. Hmmm
I have an Amazon Prime account through my brother in laws business, I guess that's what got me over. Sorry for the bum dope, I was so happy that I was whistling. But I would like to pass a little tip along to people using Amazon. For the Bird lover; if you logged in onto amazon using SMILE Amazon, and buy something. Amazon will donated a small percent to a charity, and one of them places is to the PURPLE MARTIN CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION. Doesn't cost you anything but helps an organization trying to help a bird that is 100% dependent on humans east of the Mississippi.
