Title: FINALLY THE NIGHT BEFORE INDIANA TURKEY SEASON
Post by: devin4484 on April 26, 2011, 08:05:02 PM
I hope our season isn't ruined since its starting a week later than usual, and we are having a big storm come through tonight and supposed to get 4" of rain by tomorrow evening, hope the weather man is wrong big time!  I think Indiana is the only state in the heart land or midwest that isn't open yet.

I hear what your saying. Todays hunt didn't go well right off the bat. The creek I have to cross to get to my birds was barely crossable yesterday. This morning it was 2 ft. higher, couldn't even hunt there. :'(

Ya it wasn't the best morning we could have for the first day of the season.  I only heard one gobble and it was between the rain showers and wind about 8:45AM.  I'm off Friday and cant wait!  Good luck to you INDY.
