Saw 3 Gobblers strutting in a field on my way to work this morning. Seems to be way too early for that ???

Nah, not too early.  I got trail cam video last year in Mississippi of birds strutting in late Jan./early Feb.....

3 or 4 years ago I saw some in Mississippi strutting on Christmas Day. A friend of mine heard some gobbling last week.

A year or two ago my son and I were in the woods in early January to thin out the tree rats, and just after daylight, there was a gobbler sounding off over and over for about a solid hour, the temperature was around 30 degrees.
