So last year I set up my 870 youth for my son to finally use. (He got it when he was like 5 he's 10 now) I put on the synthetic compact jr stock and forend it fits him pretty well but it's way to short for me. So I picked up a full size (26" barrel) 870 20 gauge for me. I'm in the process of getting setup for our upcoming season but I would like a new recoil pad. I like the supercell pad that Remington sells but they don't make one to fit the full size 20. Any ideas of a non grind to fit pad? I want to keep the stock it has as this is also my upland bird gun.
Check out Limbsaver. They have a bunch of downloadable templates for pre fit pads on the website and you can probably match one to your stock.
I put a Beartooth recoil pad on my 11-87 Compact 20 gauge. It comes with a good amount of shims so very adjustable and comfortable
