Title: Remington Super Full Choke
Post by: RailRoader on January 23, 2019, 08:13:06 PM
I have a Remington super full Hevi shot choke. It's extended choke for 870. Mine has a 21" barrel. Just wondering if anyone knows what constriction it would be? Also how well will it work with TSS? It says lead or steel only, would tss even be ok to shoot thru it.

.570. Yes its fine to shoot TSS with that choke. Should pattern good, but i remember guys saying that the rem super full lead only .572, throws a better pattern. Only 1 way to find out though... Good luck

Thanks. I'm gonna try it as soon as deer season is over.

I tried one in my 870 with a 21" barrel, and it shot well with hand loaded tss #9s.  It liked the Carlson's 575 a tad bit better, but still shot very well with that choke.  Both of these chokes shot better than an more expensive Indian Creek choke.  My son's gun liked the Primos Tightwad better.  I would try this choke, and then go from there.  Good luck.
