Post by: dms2511 on January 21, 2019, 10:32:42 PM
Saw this one on gunbroker and just an FYI for those of you looking for a nice example of one of the highly desirable old school Remington 870  Mossy Oak Greenleaf guns.

Makes no sense to me...it's an 870!  I use my turkey guns hard, if I scratched my $1200 870 I would cry lol.

That particular one will probably be put into a safe and never see the light of day again.

When I rifle hunted deer I always wanted a pre 64 Winchester model 70. I found a guy in Florida had a 1950 model in the box with the hang tag still on the trigger guard. Probably the finest rifle I've ever seen short of a full custom made. I bought it and killed a 12 point the first time I took it hunting,  killed 3 hogs the second time I took it out. But it was just too pretty to be dragging around the woods. It has sat in the back of my gun safe for near 20 years, a waste of money imo. Learned my lesson on that one.
