I can't complain about deer season. I killed 2 nice bucks. One was a monster. 24" wide rack and 315lbs live weight. The other was 19 1/4" wide and weight a little over 200lbs. After being sick most of turkey season in 2018 I am ready to get after them. The cancer is gone and the fire is back.
Here is the 315lbs buck:

Glad to hear the cancer is gone, go get em!
Congrats on the deer and being cancer free. I still have one deer tag left but not sure if I will find time to cash it in or not. Our bow season runs till the end of January.
Congrats especially on being cancer free. That deer is a stud for sure.

.
Congratulations on beating the cancer and the nice buck
So glad to here you are cancer free and congrats on deer season.
Lord have mercy. Thats a beast and congrats. I shot a doe with the bow and the rifle season was lousy. The deer hunting is getting worse every year in the southern tier of NY. I am ready for the birds now.
315 lbs? Deer doesn't look that big, which must be a testimony to that big ole rack!! What a stud buck!! Congrats man!! :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
Gooserbat, I'm stealing that meme!!! :TooFunny: :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
Nice deer you put on the ground. Hope you have just as great spring turkey season. The best news was you being cancer free.
I will still deer hunt, but turkey hunting has pretty much ruined deer hunting for me. Bow hunting kinda gives me the same rush, but not nearly on the level that shooting a turkey in the face with a shotgun does.
There's just something about shooting one at close range and turning him a flip that is really damn satisfying...like finally scratching that hard to reach itch.

Man what a stud deer!
I hope turkey season is even better to you than your successful deer season. Glad your health is better too!
Awesome buck and glad you beat the cancer! I missed most of the 2015 and 2017 turkey seasons with a broke leg and then back surgery so I know how you feel wanting to get back after them. Deer season was good to me and my son as well. I am ready for some winter and spring smallmouth fishing before turkey starts though. Good luck this season!
