Only my second chance to hunt in Md so far, and I roosted this bird Thursday night after watching him for two hours, on a public piece.... Little did this two year old know that once morning came, he would only have less than an hour to live....

i dont have much luck right off the roost. you deff did your homework on that bird. 95% of every bird ive killed was time frame 9 am to 130 pm. gotta love those mid-morning secondary gobbling turkeys

Congrats. Makes ya think that huntin these birds ain't that hard. Well, until the next hunt that is. Breakfast does taste better after knocking out a gobbler first thing in the morning. :z-guntootsmiley:
