Title: A Burly Crow
Post by: Mad_Baron on January 07, 2019, 12:37:47 AM
I like how this one turned out.  Beautiful piece of stabilized Buckeye burl.  Modified the insert a little and used a different reed.  Sounds pretty good, rasp and rattle. Going to test it out on the crows on our property tomorrow. Thank you!

I like that one, classy looking. Did your pin reamer work out?

Thanks Mark,  the pin reamer I got worked but very slowly on this very hard, stabilized wood.  Spent a lot of time modifying the insert a little, trying different reeds and tuning the call.  I will post another one soon that is pretty cool looking.

Like the look of that, the bottom pic almost looks liked there is a snakes head there.
