Title: Season's over for me
Post by: headshot870 on April 26, 2011, 12:02:53 AM
Well guys, the season's over for me (ends on Sat. & my next day off work is Sun.). Looks like I'm having a huge helping of friggin' tag soup! >:(

My birds didn't gobble (heard 1 bird gobble all season), screwed up on 4 birds that all came in silent &, for all intents & purposes. performed like a rookie! :TrainWreck1:

Sorry I let the team down.

Best wishes,

Nathan

That's why it's called turkey "hunting". Don't let it bother you. Looks like I'm going to be in the same boat if I don't make something happen these next couple of days.

Hey Man,
Don't sweat it too much. Last year was the first year in many that I didn't kill a bird in Michigan. I gave it a good go as I am sure you did. It stung for a while but now that I'm back at it the pain has faded a little as it will for you.  ;) That's just hunting. Something to look forward to for next year.

Thanks guys.

It's not the skunking that bothers me...it's the stupid mistakes...the one's I know better than to make. That's what eats at me.
