Looks like DSD has a new jake strutter out and they've raised prices on all their hen decoys. Anyone wanting a hen better get one from their resellers before they raise prices in Spring. Looks like it may be time to unload some of mine that have been collecting dust.

:o $199.00 for a decoy!!!! glad I never liked them !!!
I admit that's a lot and I'm neither saying anything fore or against but it gets me head shaking the things guys will or won't spend money for.
A 300 dollar turkey call that could be crushed or stepped on, 6-7 dollars a shell ammo. Certain camo that will fade or be outgrown, Once they're gone they're gone forever. But the money gets talked about w other things like decoys, certain sights, etc all items that could be a one time investment. All in the eye of beholder priorities. Some guys wouldn't use em free but that's dif
Wow that looks so real I would be afraid to hunt too close to it.It is expensive but it seems to happen to every product, it would probably last longer than the new tires I put on my pickup this spring. What happened to the 100$ tires ????
That's a dang good looking decoy! I just ordered a 3/4 strut jake before Christmas otherwise it'd be tempting
I'm holding out until next year. Hoping they have a $500 dollar model by then that will gobble, fight real gobblers and breed hens. Flying off a roost limb would be cool too, but that might be a bit much.
I just order 4 of these .. i wanted a flock ...

I know better, but if you ordered 4 you got your wish. You got flocked :fud: :newmascot:
I'll have myself one, I have plenty of DSD's and know the results and have no problem dropping 2 bills on another.
I'll doctor him up a bit!
I already have a "White Headed" DSD Strutter I designed from back in 2012 and he is a killer, sometimes a bit to carry around but he is not for every hunt. With this one being a smaller body version and easier to carry. I will dress him up in gobbler garb, re-paint his head and go with a full fan and longbeard. Sure to be a killer for me!
He's dead using the "White Head"
MK M GOBL
Pricing seems to be right inline with the original strutter. DSD makes good products, willing to bet it will sell well.

I think the hens have always been 129 , if not I dont see a issue with a small raising costs to cover cost of living etc....they are still USA made ..and second to none in quality
I still have the very first dsd hen decoy ever made , still hunt it every season since 2008

Hens are all listed at $159 on their site. Been $125 as long as I can remember.
After looking again it looks like there may be an error on their site. On be summary page they are all listed at $159 but once I clicked on a hen they came up as $129 like you mentioned.
Definitely awesome decoys and they hold up well.
Dont need the DSD strutter's a plane hen will help call in anything you want with a few clucks and yelps. I have my first up right DSD hen from 2009 and paid $129.00 for it. That was half the price of my gun I was useing at the time. But I am so happy I paid that money for it, have had so much extra entertainment with that decoy. Have had so may hens fight that decoy, its funny, that and toms trying to breed it also. I just hope they put a warning on the box, use on private land or you could get some idiot shooting it.
