Was cleaning a couple slug barrels after sighting our shotguns in for deer season and can't say enough good on how well it works. Ever since I've started using it year's ago it's eliminated using a brass brush. Couple passes through the barrel on cotton patches is all it takes. Give it a try if you haven't. Makes cleaning easy.
It's def easier cleaning a shotgun than a rifle with that stuff. If ur using a brass patch jag, it'll keep showing "dirty" patches. It does a great job of eliminating copper and lead though. Not so great on carbon in the rifling of a barrel though.
