Some years ago I found this home made call at some antique shop that I stopped at to stretch my legs. As a driving everywhere sales guy, I had that opportunity many times. I thought the call would be an interesting addition to my diverse collection of hunting and fishing items that cluttered my den. So, when I recently started making some turkey calls, I decided to make a copy of that strange call. Here is mine on the left of the picture of the new one and the old one. I hope they both will some day find their way into a collectors den as they do now. Perhaps the grand-boys will help me out with that wish.
I never seen one of those before . how dose it work?
the handle moves across the sounding boards and it makes a decent hen turkey call. I may use it next season! It's kinda crude but fun to have found it. Thanks for your question
