Here's some footage we shot this past Friday here in Pitt County, North Carolina. Four years ago I think I shot the only gobbler on this tract of land. And now here we are. It's amazing what good management can do for a piece of land.

Since I shot another one about a week earlier, looks like I'm done toting a gun for the rest of the season. Thank the Lord for video cameras!

Hunting here in Jones County has been wonderful as well. I tagged out on the morning of 16th getting my second bird, the first coming on opening morning. GREAT season here in Eastern NC!!!

Up until that day it had been one of the toughest seasons in recent memory, but that changed pretty quick.
