This show is painful to watch. It's a full out advertisement for 30 minutes. I'm convinced the dad nor the 2 sons know much of anything about hunting.
Michael Waddell is on the show and I can't believe he would endorse their stuff, guess for enough money you will endorse anything.
When it comes to deer hunting I also just watch them shoot deer over bags of poured out grain and then brag...give me a break. I refuse to watch this show anymore. :-\
yeah it is one of the many terrible consumeristic hunting shows
I second your thoughts. I even have the benefit of not living to far from there farm. Which by the way is high fenced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People like that give hunting a bad name.
Dan
I saw a country singer take a speed goat on their show with a cross bow freehand at like 98yds or something ridiculous. Why even shoot that far when the chance of wounding an animal is so great? Pa-thet-ic! All for the fun of saying you shot that far?? Their products are crap and their ethics are crap. A hole lotta crap.
It's one of the few I've actually taken OFF of my DVR.

Yep, I like a lot of the shows on the Outdoor Channel but I can't stand watching this one, it's a joke.
Can't do it. I would really like to punch the old man out. He really gets under my skin..I hate that stinkin' show. No mo...I am better now..Thanks
I agree that their show is junk. I have lost a lot of respect for Waddell and anyone else that works with them. The one thing I do like about them is that they don't hide the fact that they are baiting, which is more than I say about many other outdoor personalities. I watched one show where a deers face was covered with their greens-n-raged and they were bragging about it. Don't forget to pick up one of their gunslaters before the season.
Its not just their show ,all the hunting shows are going to more selling less hunting . I get 3 different outdoor Chanel's and they are all about trying to get your money !!@)*%#
Where's Marlin Perkins when you need him??

I can stand to watch Jim Shokey or Drury, sometimes, but for the most part I just don't watch those channels much any more. I still like flipping through cabels or bass pro and deciding what looks good to me. Hunting shows for the most part are 30min infomercials and maybe a decent hunt. I know people have to make a living, but it's getting old.
they are a super rich spoiled family, they take private jets around to high fence hunts that they use feed and bait on its pathetic. Saw a turkey hunting episode where they were advertising inbetween hunts for their new turkey decoy but the entire hunt didnt use their own #%^& decoy they used stuffers and DSD.
All theirs stuff is cheaply made in china and heavily marketed but dont ask them to stand behind their product
Im not picky about TV show and try not to judge ppl from my couch but those people arent sportsman they just give us a bad name
I wonder if them two boys rode the short bus to school... they don't seem to smart either... I think Waddell rode that same bus too
I totally agree. That show is simply BAD! :TrainWreck1:
Waddell has become a paid whore. He will endorse anything for the dollar bill in my opinion. He drives me nuts...

I quit watching most of these shows, because I was getting too ticked. I'd be better doing a cooking show than those guys attempting a hunting show.
All this time I thought I was the only one that hated :character0029: this show !
I just wished i got the hunting channel
Fellas this is what happens when the dollar bill has more to do with it than anything. It's sad to say but that's how it's going. Knight and Hale, Primos, and HS Strut are just as bad except for the fact that they started out right but have been forced to go this direction to survive....

it does suck i would like to have there max gobbler 870s :z-paddy-smiley113:
There was an episode a year or so ago where they spent nearly the whole show bragging about their plane and what a pain in the neck it was to 'have' to do photo shoots for their sponsors. Of course the next 10 minutes were spent posing for cameras and hobnobbing with celebrities.
They are in it for all the wrong reasons in my book.

Yeah its pretty good. There is a show called Wardens in Montana on the outdoor channel that is pretty good too.
Both Wild Justice and Game Wardens are great shows. My only issue is there is very little talk about legal and ethical hunters. I wish they would point out that the people they are busting do not represent every hunter in the woods!

Maybe that's why his wife is divorcing him.
and....
Thank goodness y'all think the same as I do about "Big Bill" and the Wild Game Nation show...PUKE!!!
I dont have any respect for them or about 99% of the so called "pro " hunters. Several years ago it was good tv but most have sold out now.

Didn't know he was getting a divorce. Won't this be his 2nd?
Yall must have missed the "Miss Wildgame Nation 2010" episode. It was definantly worth watching...... ;)
Can't Think of name of the show. He thinks he the best hunter. But does every thing wrong!
the whole hunting show thing has turned into one big commercial. the days of a true hunter making a show that will benafit other hunters is a thing of the past. i hardly ever watch the crap any more
Well if you guys ban together and give me good salary and a few mexicans with cameras, I bet I will make a hunting show WORTH watchin! Atleast the turkey hunting part.......if you like to see dead animals I would be a good fit. Trophy animals....not so much.
WE wil pay you what you are worth! I don't think you will work that cheap! :TooFunny: :TooFunny: just kidding

i saw one show a couple weeks ago where they were turkey hunting and the guy was using a crossbow and took a shot about 50 yards, missed and grabed a shotgun and shot two more times at the bird and wondered why he missed, dont rwemember they name but the guy was a complete idiot.

Wow, we have a real winner there! Too bad you can't remember the name
I think it I seen that, I want to say it was the youngest son.
Not sure about the places they travel to for hunting, but their place in Louisiana is not high fenced and has some huge deer on it. They manage for age not size and have some awsome bucks. I have seen some of the racks that come off there. They do have some fencing along roads and a few other areas, but you can drive right through it on public roads and there are no fences. They manage it very well. They may have a few to many deer, but what area in Louisiana doesn't?
I said this long ago. There aren't very many shows worth watching. They are the reason we pay through the nose for either a guided or out of state hunt. Just look at the prices of some hunts.
