Thought i would start a favorite pot call discussion. I will list the surfaces and pick my favorite pot call in that particular surface with the maker.
Grey slate- Eddie Wynn
Green slate- Brad Roberts
Regular glass- Paul Platz
Bronze glass- Brad Roberts
Crystal- david Halloran
Anodize aluminum- Lon Trice
Stoned Aluminum - Lon Trice
Ceramic- Chad Hutchison AKA Stumpy

Want to add that I have not gotten Mark's AKA footballers yet. Over the year my list may change. So lets hear them guys.

There are so many  great callmakers, these are calls that I own and sound the best to my ear and have been successful in the woods.

Man , i have a ton of pots and those are my favorites. We have the same taste lol.

I'll tell I received a walnut slate/slate from matt van cise
For fathers day and , he put a Turkey in pot ......
I keep playing and I haven't even  gone over it with a pad yet
Touch of rasp front and nice rasp at the backend on the break ...........

Im going to have to try one of his pots. I just ordered a chestnut slate over slate from footballer i cant wait to get.

I have a ton of great pots. Of my favorites are:
  Jimmy Schaffer blasted aluminum over aluminum (white ash)
  Jason Dials glass over glass
  Jimmy Schaffer slate over slate (walnut)
  Lonnie Sneed Outlaw Hen (green glass)
  Scott Veiting copper over glass
  Scott Hock slate over slate (white oak)

I even ordered his new crystal over aluminum in a osage pot. That sound file sounds awesome also.

Thanks for this post S and P I just went back and ran them all with the same striker, not sure who made it but it worked on all of them!

Slate - Southland in Walnut or Reynolds Slate/Slate

Only calls I found that have stayed a whole season in my vest.

Bronze Glass- Hands down...Brad Roberts
Aluminum- Scaffer, Lonzo and I just got my first Platz (Wow)
Ceramic- Lonzo in a Birdseye Maple Pot ( Killed a couple this year with that one)
Glass- I love my Corders!
Copper- I hate copper! Lol

Green Slate- last year I got a green slate in a cedar pot from Strawser. That call is killer!
