Title: Cast Iron Display
Post by: Spring Creek Calls on June 28, 2018, 04:45:57 PM
We decided to display our cast iron instead of struggling to get it out from the lower cabinets or oven. Of course it was the wife's idea and my labor.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180628/1d95416afe9fadc087dcc96f93aadf2d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180628/42c786af141e3962d6d8ed717401509d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180628/ad55bf41d72ca93a0b54c723eefbbce3.jpg)

That looks really good!  I can almost smell the pork chops and cornbread.

That's a cast iron holder for stick matches.

I like it!! You need a nice cleaned up old chicken coupe in the house for your shoes to go with it.

Looks real nice.
I've always enjoyed cooking over a fire with a cast iron Dutch oven...good times.

I just ran my Grandmothers/ Mom's old skillet through an electrolysis tank and am starting to season it.  I need to figure out a display for it.

Bet there were some fine meals cooked in that skillet. Hope it works out well for you.

Very nice. You just can't beat good cast iron to cook with. Just no comparison.

Man that looks real nice!  I saw something similar to that on Pinterest the other day. I'll try to keep the wife from seeing that or she'll have me lined out on another camp project.
