any of you guys pick something up from the woods that makes it feel like something is crawling on you and get little pin prick sensations?...it doesn't look to be turkey mites as I have looked and have not found a one...any other thoughts?...got it in the woods one morning hunting...
chiggers.....
Oh Yeah..... CHIGGERS!!!
nope...no red dots and I have had chiggers a ton growing up...there are no bite marks what-so-ever...it feels like when you get one of your wifes hairs on your clothes and it keeps touching you (if she has long hair you know what I'm talking about)...just kind of a tickle and then you get a "bite" that feels just like a pin prick...but there are no critters visible and no bite marks...
Google It!
No see um's maybe
been googling...thats just scary right the let me tell ya :TooFunny:
we do have no-see-ums but you can actually see them...this is just kinda a skin crawl feeling with a pin prick sensation every now and then...gonna go see what else I can find
try a shower then some of the little ladies body lotion.
You got the fleas!
ROFL...it kinda feels like fleas...just no flea...gonna give the lotion a try tonight...
Do you have stinging nettles in your neck of the woods?
I think it's chiggers, I hate those things.
Almost afraid to ask, but I will. Where's this itchy bitey feeling located?
*runs for cover*
Possible clothes detergent reaction ? Bug spray, permathine reaction?
Around the collar of your neck? If it's a new headnet or gloves, clothing, it may be a reaction to the ink/dye?
Sleeping at the hunting camp, it may be bed bugs?
That's all I got so far.
God Bless,
David B.
its definitely not chiggers...I have had those more times than I care to comment...cant be a permathine reaction cause I went and bought it the day it started for that very reason...it just feels like something is crawling on you...like when a mosquito lands on you and moves an arm hair kinda feeling...area is from head to toe...all old clothes and no hunting camp...might go get a lice treatment and do a full scrub...I saw that mentioned online somewhere for a type of mite...its got to be a mite of some sort...probably what the turkeys are dusting for...
well get out there and roll around in the dirt...
