Who do you think makes great strikers. Mostly I will be running them on slate & glass.
Thanks.
I like Derrick Stuckey personally.

It's hard to say who has the best ones. Each maker has their own feel. Wood wise for glass and crystal you'll have a hard time beating yellowheart. For softer talk but still versatile try hickory.

I got one striker from 4 or 5 different makers and tried them out. It's really probably down to personal preference. I liked the way the Lyman balance and felt in my hand. Ended up selling the others

You can't go wrong with Stuckey strikers.
Lyman or Stuckey.
Isn't dymondwood considered an all around??? I'd make sure to have one of those in your plan.
Fowler is the best, but with his health issues I feel he will no longer be making them. Sad day in call making history.

I've been really impressed with the couple Sinclair strikers I picked up this year. Stucky makes a great striker as well.
Stuckey
Halloran are some of my favorites. I like Stuckey strikers as well. Harold Fowler makes some very nice ones and is a super nice man to speak with. His strikers are a little to small for my hands though. Looking to get a couple of Lyman strikers by next season.
If you have not tried Daddy Rat's strikers give em a shot. I really like his Jatoba striker.
Also take a look at making your own 2 pc strikers. Lots of material options out there.
Harold Fowler. Great Strikes and even better man!
I have a pair of Stuckey https://obsessioncustomcalls.mysimplestore.com/ that I like quite a bit and also a David Halloran Ipe that I got here in a lot that I really really like. http://www.davidhalloranturkeycalls.com/ I also have a Yingling fiber rod that works great when wet, when I got them I wondered if they would really work when wet so I took my MAD Super Crystal pot and held it under the faucet and then did the same with the strikers and they worked like a charm, I had not even touched up the surface on the crystal before I did it and it still sounded great with both strikers. Here are the two Stuckey's Tulip Wood Splatted Maple and Wenge. I will get you pictures of the other two later. Also Neal here makes strikers, I have to get some from him before next season, I have seen many people compliment his strikers here.
Here are the other 3 I spoke of.
I have a tulipwood striker also , two ,

Scott Hock is making one of the best Hickory and Persimmon strikers I have used in 20+ years. They are one piece strikers and if interested you can contact him here on Old Gobbler. His user name is Scott Hock.
This is one of his

I'm a big fan of John Sinclair's strikers but there are so many good ones out there. Stuckey makes great strikers and I'm also partial to Larry Gresser's strikers.
