I am curious what type of seat you use when your hunting with a satchel. I am guessing one off of a vest, and how are you connecting it to the satchel or how are you carrying it. I hunt the mountains of NE Pa and the heat is starting to take its toll. Thanks !!!!
Gobbler Lounger...came with a bag that has a carry strap years ago. Now they got cheap and they have just a strap attached to the chair.

If I hunted with a satchel or fanny pack I'd carry a crazy creek hex chair. I used one in Idaho for glassing elk and when you're counting onces vs useful comfort it was hard to beat. I think they weight 15oz and offer free standing back support
Is it gobbler lounger napping comfort.. No but at 1/6th the weight they are pretty slick. I'd say the one caveat is that I don't think they would suite a large or wide bottomed fellow well unless they make a wide or XL size.

I just sit on the ground. If it's been raining I carry a plastic garbage bag.
Gobbler Lounger. Can't beat it. :icon_thumright:
If I have to set up in a hurry, I just sit on the ground. But if there's a possibility that I'm going to be there for a while, I enjoy the comfort of a lounger.
three layer thermaseat clipped to my belt or bino harness with a carabiner.
I just sit on bare ground. Just finished hunting NE PA mountains wearing my satchel and was glad I wasn't carrying anything else!

Got a cushion with a belt on it put it around my waist and I can move with ease
Thanks for the input , hope everyone had a great season
For hot or rainy days the Therma Seat cushion is attached to my satchel with a carbiner. The Therma Seat is only a few ounces.
Gobbler lounger for me. I hate the weight but love the comfort. G lounger has made me a better turkey hunter

Lounger. Success rate went way up when I got one. I can sit hours instead of minutes, but I also have major back issues. I was done with turkey hunting until I got a lounger, now I can hang with 'em.
