We went hunting on Friday morning it was blowing and a light drizzle. Got setup along a cornfield. The birds ended up being on the other side of the river. An hour after sunrise a tom and 6 hens flew across to our side. They came all the way up to our decoys. My buddy dropped the tom.

This morning I went to a different spot along the bluffs of the Missouri river. After bumping the first group of birds off the roost. 2 birds stayed and flew down in front of us about 60yds. Ended up calling them up to 10yds from us. Too bad.... just jakes. After a couple hundred yards down the ridge, we heard another gobble. We got set up on it. Then all was silent and after about 45mins, I caught movement about 100yds out. He must have locked on to our DSD's...he came strutting in the whole way.
