Title: SX3 20 gauge saddle mount?
Post by: 10gaugemag on May 19, 2018, 02:49:34 PM
Anybody making a saddle mount for an SX3 20 gauge?

Interested in mounting an optic on my new turkey gun.

It's not hard to drill and tap if you can't find anything

Wanting to use it for somethjng besides a turkey gun and I don't know how the aluminum receiver will handle screws being ran in and out between seasons.

If no saddle mount is available I will just run a set of Williams Sluggers.

B Square makes a Universal Cantilever rib mount. It's a very good product. I have a couple on 20 gauge guns with "dot" type sights. If you want to use the fun for other purposes that don't need sights, it is pretty simple to remove but you'd need to verify the zero.
Brownell's and others carry it.
I hope that helps.

Thanks,
Clark

Does it mar the rib in any way or is there some protection from screw threads?

I have not seen any damage from installation or use.

Thanks,
