I was given a 870 super mag. by a hunting buddy who died.These are great turkey guns, once you change the front sight to an 11-87 fiber optic sight. Get a sling, and an extra full rem. Choke.Shoot 1 7/8 oz. lead bb's.Federal.These guns are dependable, and can take a beating.Mine has hardwoods camo, and blends in well.In my opinion, these are the best Remington turkey guns.

I have mine set up with truglo sights that clamp onto the rib and a knoxx blackhawk Gen II recoil supression stock. Love this setup using 3 1/2 in Winchester Long Beard #5.
I love mine has a great trigger for a shotgun currently shooting 3.5 Hevi shot blends from Nitro when these run out i'll buy TSS. I have a bushnell red dot and my set up works very well.
Love mine. It's ugly but goes boom every time I pull the trigger. The LB shells and rem super full choke are a good combo for me.
Before any of my fellow Iowans try this load, remember BB's are illegal for turkey hunting.
870 Express Super Mag here. I've got mine set up with the Truglo dot sight with the integrated Remington saddle mount. It really likes the XR Longbeards in the #5 or the Supremes in #6 shot with the Truglo TG150X choke. It shoots better than I do if that makes sense?

. I'm not familiar with the new amo. I use 20 to 30 year old federal high power 1 7/8 lead bb's, copper plated, extended range.
Truglo red dot, ventilator choke, and federal turkey thug 3 1/2 #5's.
Just a nasty turkey killing weapon... Love it

I got the duck/turkey combo in MO Bottomland and had the 26" barrel cut down to 21" with an IC Choke and it throws a wicked pattern of TSS #9's
