Title: So Dak hunt
Post by: Swenny on May 11, 2018, 09:52:25 AM
Got this guy on the Missouri River in So Dak.  Had him on the roost the night before.  Set up on the edge of a cornfield about two hundred yards from him.  Gobbling like crazy that morning but came off the roost and strutted up and down under his tree. After half hour his ladies left, and he made a bee line towards my morning calls.  As soon as he saw the half strut deke he went into drumming mode and hustled towards me.  A perfect SD morning.
