Title: Wyoming bird

I called this bird in, he was with a hen.I scouted 5 big gobblers in this field the day before, but didn't want to pass on this one.Not heavy, but pretty.

Thank you.There were 5 big birds in a group the afternoon prior, and they were on there way I think, but I hate to pass on a decent bird.Something can happen, and you get nothing. Maybe I should have waited for them, and let this guy go.The hen saw me, and flew.This guy was 20 feet behind, I had no decoy out, and he was looking around, wondering why the hen flew.

. Thank you.hes only an 18 pound bird, and there was a 30 pounder up on the ridge with some other big birds, but they may not have come in, and I wasn't familiar with the ground.Nice bird anyway, I'm happy with him.

Thanks for the compliments.Means a lot.I had some really big birds scouted, but this bird showed up first, and I could not pass on him.I had an out of state tag, and one day to hunt.I was lucky to have the farmer show me where they were the day before.
