Title: Pure Golds and Ber/Ben Barrels?
Post by: devin4484 on April 22, 2011, 07:55:21 PM
Thinking of getting a pure gold for my stoeger.  Anyone ever had this combination?  I have an indian creek (not impressed) and a kicks .655 that shoots good with lead but scared to death to shoot hevi through it.  My thoughts are that the .670 will shoot a good even pattern with 3-2-6 combo.

Just bought one from Mattinidaho. Should get it early next week. I'm trying 7's, and will let you know what results I get when I get a chance to shoot it. Got poor results with a 655 Tightwad, so am hoping a larger diameter will be the ticket. Neill

My Stoeger 2000 loves an IC and #7's but will not shoot Hevi #6's worth a crap. Got a buddy that has a Stoeger 2000 with an IC and his will eat a target up with Hevi 3" 2oz #6's.....go figure.

I've been shooting Hevi thru my Kicks .655 in both of my Benellis for years with no problems.   I also shoot Hevi thru a Jellyhead .655 with awesome patterning results.
