Title: Anybody tried one of the Stevens 320 pumps?

I was thinking about buying one of these just as a backup turkey/basic field gun. It uses standard Win chokes just like Win., Mossberg etc.

I just got one of the Stevens 320 turkey guns last week as a backup..bad weather "beat around" gun.  Surprised more folks don't have one. For $200-250...you can't beat it.  Build on old tried and true Win 1300 format...rotating bolt, etc. I shot it about 5 times and like it.

We'll, I couldn't help myself. Went ahead and bought one today. Haven't shot it yet but, seems built good and has a smooth action.

Did you get the turkey model with camo and 22in barrel?

No the standard 28" field model. Its still a lightweight feeling gun though. I really prefer shorter barrels but, its not a lot longer than my 24" Mossberg 500.

Shot it Yesterday and it shot good but, shot a little low. May get a sight set for it.

I just think for a little more money you can get a better gun... never was fond of the 1300 Win action ...
