Old Gobbler is THE "Turkey Hunting" Spot on the www, and I know that there are already many other websites that cater to other types of hunting.
But the group we have here at OG seem to be so gung-ho about the shooting sports in general, that I believe we could easily man the oars for an All-Around Shooting Sports Forum, completely separate from the Turkey Guns Forum. A place where we could talk about Duck & Goose loads, Pheasant Loads, Small Game hunting in general, Deer Rifles, Archery, etc.
I like the format and the mix of people on OG better than anywhere else. But sometimes I wish the topics could also cover other areas of similar interest, without being quickly lost amongst the numerous threads on the main forum.
Maybe a few different folders within the general forum, but I think if we went to an all around forum it would change... People enjoy this site because they can talk turkey... I don't think some will enjoy it as much if it is full of everything... Maybe I am wrong, but some different folders(?) within the general forum would be nice, so that the threads do not get pushed down and it could be strictly for other types of hunting.
