Killed my first bird with my own call today. Double slate in a lacewood pot. Finished with a diaphragm so I dodnt move my hands. It was fun :funnyturkey:

I used a rosewood striker on this pot. Purple Heart sounded good too. Pics will be up when my wife or kids do it for me. I work, hunt and shoot with my family. All that smart stuff I leave to them :OGturkeyhead:

Good news and bad news. Bad news first, I cracked my Lacewood double slate that I made. Good news is that it sounds ok and we killed birds 2/3 with it today. Wife's first hunt, we doubled and I used my call. Only a triple with my princess and wife will beat this day. Thanks again guys , Al
