Anyone use one of these.  Like to put some time of optic on my M1 90.

Yes, I've used one on my 870 SM for years now. Love it!

Got a Speed Bead on my primary turkey gun, a SBE II.  I haven't missed since I added it.  I love the low profile and the fact that it doesn't throw the balance of the gun off.  I had a conventional red dot on my old SBE, but it was bulky and in the way.  It also ate batteries up.  I've had the FF ii on a Speed Bead mount for 6 years and have only needed to replace the battery once.  I hate they don't make a Speed Bead mount to fit a 20 gauge 870, because I really don't want to drill & tap may Grandad's old Wingmaster.

I put one on my Benelli M1 20 gauge this year.  Had to get it drilled and tapped and got the mount from Sumtoy.  Because of this forum I decided on the Burris FF3.. I zeroed it in using regular shells at 15 yards, then 20 yards, then 30 and 40 with turkey loads.

Thanks for the feedback.  Looks like Im going to give one a try.

By the way does this mount have to be married with a Burris Sight?

I had the mount originally on my sbe2 but i dont like it. If you remove the barrel for cleaning you will lose zero, where as if you mount it to the receiver you won't
