Well there were 19 pellets in the head and neck of this bird. It was a straight on shot and I put my sights on the caruncles.

The folks who want a much better performing shotshell than the one you killed this particular turkey with.
To each his own but Pb is obviously still getting it done for me. $11.99 per box of 10 rounds of Winchester® Supreme® is a lot easier on my wallet; than $18.99 for 5 rounds of Hevi13® which is inconsistent in my gun(s) and chokes(s).

My 20ga Mossberg® pump consistently patterns this load very well. The money I save over purchasing HTL loads I use for gas and such.

I thought you told me you walked a mile and a half straight up and that alone is 7,920 feet. LOL. Bad math on my part
Now is it a mountain bird or plains bird? We all want to know. All we have here are piney woods easterns and field birds. If it has pitch on its feet its a piney woods and if its dust on its feet it is a field bird. If it has corn in its craw its a baited bird.

It was a mountain bird through and through. Pine sap on it's toes and bugs in its craw! ;D

That is solely a matter of opinion. This is the "Lead Shooters" Forum after all.
